Job Summary
Operate assigned vacuum tankers, vacuum trucks, vans, dump equipment, and roll off equipment to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste between facilities and client sites while meeting scheduled appointments. Ensure vehicle placarding meets DOT requirements, secure cargo during transit, and maintain required paperwork including manifests, job sheets, and expense reports. Inspect truck equipment and supplies including tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water before each shift. Complete additional assigned duties as needed. This role requires a CDL Class A with Tanker endorsement and involves weekly home days with occasional weekend work depending on customer demand.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older due to interstate commercial travel regulations
- CDL Class A with Tanker endorsement required
- Must abide by all DOT regulations at all times
- Clean driving record
- Ability to use a tablet for E Logs
Desired Qualifications
- HazMat endorsement preferred but not required for hire
- Minimum two years of commercial driving experience preferred, but drivers with less experience may be considered with strong safety records and willingness to learn
- Hazmat endorsement
- Highschool education
