Job Summary
CDL Driver I operates a truck to deliver building materials to job sites across the state, performs pre-trip inspections, maintains DOT logs, loads/unloads materials, secures loads, and provides customer service while adhering to DOT guidelines. Requires a Class A or B CDL, basic math and communication skills, familiarity with loading/unloading processes, and safe operation of trucks and forklift equipment when applicable. Maintains cleanliness of the truck and supports a safe, productive work environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- CDL Class A or B required
- 1-3 years CDL experience preferred/required for interstate commerce
- Ability to perform basic math
- Ability to read orders and communicate with customers
- Maintain current operator’s license and meet driver qualification requirements
