Job Summary
Deliver short-haul freight by dry vans, grain trailers, and roll-offs to customer and industrial locations in Texas and Louisiana. Operate state-of-the-art air movers and heavy equipment while planning efficient routes to ensure on-time delivery. Perform pre-departure truck and trailer inspections, complete work orders with required paperwork, and secure freight throughout the trip. Obey all traffic and safety laws while driving on customer property, public roads, or private holdings. Report delays due to road conditions, accidents, or breakdowns to management. Maintain regular on-site attendance and punctuality for a Monday through Friday day shift with some weekend requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL Driver's License
- Ability to secure a TWIC Card
- Pass DOT Physical
- Pass Hair Follicle drug screen
- 2 or more years' driving experience
- Incident free driving record
- 21 years or older
- Legally able to work in the U.S.
- Valid Driver's License (depending on work location)
- Valid TWIC card (depending on work location)
- Pass a drug screen
- Pass a physical
- Pass a background check
- Ability to wear all required PPE without restriction
- Ability to pass any required medical exams
- Speak fluent English
- Write fluent English
- Read fluent English
- Regular on-site attendance
- Punctuality
