Job Summary
Deliver short haul freight using dry vans, grain trailers, and roll-offs to customer and industrial locations in Texas and Louisiana. Operate state-of-the-art air movers and heavy equipment while planning efficient routes to ensure on-time delivery. Perform pre-departure truck and trailer inspections, complete work orders with required paperwork, and secure freight throughout the trip. Safely drive on public roads and customer properties while reporting delays, accidents, or breakdowns to management. Complete any other duties assigned to finish the job. Schedule includes Monday through Friday day shifts with some weekends required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL Driver's License
- Ability to secure a TWIC Card
- Pass DOT Physical
- Pass Hair Follicle drug screen
- 2 or more years' driving experience
- Incident free driving record
- 21 years or older
- Legally able to work in the U.S.
- Valid Driver's License (depending on work location)
- Valid TWIC card (depending on work location)
- Pass background check
- Wear all required PPE without restriction
- Pass any required medical exams
- Speak fluent English
- Write fluent English
- Read fluent English
- Regular on-site attendance
- Punctuality
