Job Summary
A Route Driver operates a grease collection truck to collect cooking oil and a fat/bone collection truck, plus a pump truck for waste oil, with responsibility for completing route tickets, maintaining the vehicle, and ensuring safety and compliance. Duties include pumping trap contents, inspecting raw material for hazards, maintaining DOT logs, providing receipts with signatures, ensuring cleanliness and safety, completing daily vehicle condition reports and required paperwork, and upholding professional customer service. Must have a valid Class A CDL, be 21+, and be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen. Strong emphasis on safety, regulatory compliance (federal/state/local), accuracy in paperwork, and ability to operate under varying conditions; physical demands include frequent walking, lifting, and readiness to work weekends/overtime. Knowledge of hydraulics is a plus and prior route-delivery experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must possess a valid Class A CDL.
