Job Summary
CDL Driver for SRS Building Products in Monroe, MI. Safely operate Class A/B vehicles within a 200-mile radius with no overnight travel, perform thorough vehicle inspections, verify inventory, and ensure secure, damage-free deliveries. Collaborate with customers for material placement, document deliveries with photos per policy, and support yard operations while upholding OSHA safety standards. Role emphasizes safety, customer service, and teamwork with reporting to the Assistant Branch Manager or Operations Manager; travel is local/interstate within 200 miles and deliveries begin/end at the home branch the same day. Must meet CDL requirements, DOT/OSHA knowledge, and English communication; post-offer screenings including background check and drug test are required. High school diploma or GED required; Hazmat and other qualifications preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid CDL Class A or B with air brakes endorsement and a clean driving record
- Commercial driving experience
- Knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
- Operate forklifts safely
- English communication
- 18+ (21+ for interstate/hazmat)
- Background checks and drug test
- E-Verify
- High school diploma or GED
