Job Summary
Operate commercial vehicles to deliver hazardous materials to customer locations or job sites while complying with all DOT/FMCSA regulations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load and secure hazardous materials, verify routes and inventory, maintain delivery records, and support site safety. Maintain a clean driving record, follow safety procedures, take photos of delivered products as required, and communicate effectively with the branch and customers. Requires 21+ years old, CDL with Hazmat endorsement, DOT medical certification, and ability to lift up to 100 pounds; knowledge of FMCSA/DOT/OSHA safety regulations; basic computer skills; capable of working in a warehouse environment with varying conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- HAZMAT Endorsement
- Current DOT Medical Certification
- Completion of FMCSA Registration
- Ability to continuously lift and handle freight/materials up to 100 pounds
- Must be 21 years old for transporting hazardous materials
- A clean driving record (no hit & runs and no DWI/DUI in the last 18 months)
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance and OSHA safety regulations
- Basic computer skills to record deliveries and track inventory on a computer or tablet
