Job Summary
Operate commercial vehicles to deliver products to customer locations while strictly following all DOT and FMCSA regulations. Inspect vehicles before and after trips, load and unload orders ensuring hazardous materials are properly separated, and take photos of all delivered products. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, and receipts, and support site safety by reporting potential hazards. Perform physical tasks including lifting freight up to 100 pounds and working in varied weather conditions within a warehouse environment. Valid Class A or B CDL with Hazmat endorsement and current DOT medical certification required. Must be 21 years old with a clean driving record.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- HAZMAT Endorsement
- Current DOT Medical Certification
- Completion of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) Registration
- Ability to continuously lift and handle freight/materials up to 100 pounds
- Must be 21 years old for transporting hazardous materials
- A clean driving record (no hit & runs and no DWI/DUI in the last 18 months)
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance and OSHA safety regulations
- Basic computer skills to record deliveries and track inventory on a computer or tablet
- Must meet DOT medical certification standards to operate vehicles safely
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Air Brake endorsement
- Experience operating Manual or Automatic Transmission vehicles
- Valid and unexpired forklift certification
- Prior commercial driving experience
