Job Summary
Operate company vehicles up to 26' trucks in compliance with DOT regulations, conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure roadworthiness. Deliver materials to customer project sites on time, unloading items and verifying deliveries against packing slips while representing the company positively. Maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment by adhering to OSHA requirements, using proper lifting techniques, and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment. Attend all required company training programs and meetings related to material delivery and overall operations.
Required Qualifications
- Class A
- Minimum 1-year consistent commercial driving experience
- MOFFET EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Valid driver's license (implied by Class A requirement)
- Must be able to learn how to operate a forklift and other company vehicles
- Must understand and be able to use miscellaneous tools and equipment, including but not limited to: dollies, flat carts, and rock carts
- Must be able to lift and/or move 80 lbs.
- Must be able to climb ladders carrying up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes and clothing
- Must be able to attend and participate in all required meetings in relation to material delivery and overall company
- Must be able to attend and participate in all required company training programs
- Must be able to adhere to all driving regulations based on state and/or jurisdiction policies such as wearing a seatbelt
- Must be able to follow all safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements to maintain a safe working environment
- Must be able to use proper lifting techniques
- Must be able to work well in a team environment
