Job Summary
Safely operate company trucks up to 26' in compliance with DOT regulations, conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure roadworthiness. Deliver materials to customer project sites on time, unloading and verifying deliveries against packing slips while protecting and staging items per customer directives. Maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment by adhering to OSHA requirements, using proper lifting techniques, and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment. Attend all required company training programs and meetings related to material delivery and overall operations.
Required Qualifications
- Possess valid Class A or Class B CDL
- Minimum 1-year consistent commercial driving experience
- Must be able to learn how to operate a forklift and other company vehicles
- Must understand and be able to use miscellaneous tools and equipment, including but not limited to: dollies, flat carts, and rock carts
- Must attend and participate in all required meetings in relation to material delivery and overall company
- Attend and participate in all required company training programs
- Must be able to lift 80 lbs.
- Must be able to climb ladders carrying up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes and clothing
