Job Summary

Operate company vehicles, including up to 26' trucks, in compliance with DOT regulations while conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Deliver materials to customer project sites on time, unload deliveries, and verify shipments against packing slips. Perform forklift operations and stage materials as specified by customer directives, adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA requirements. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment using proper lifting techniques and personal protective equipment. Participate in all required company training programs and meetings. Possess a valid Class A or Class B CDL, clean driving record, and at least one year of consistent commercial driving experience. Full-time role with base pay of $28.00–$32.00 per hour.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-year consistent commercial driving experience
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Must be able to learn how to operate a forklift and other company vehicles
  • Must understand and be able to use miscellaneous tools and equipment, including but not limited to: dollies, flat carts, and rock carts
  • Must attend and participate in all required meetings in relation to material delivery and overall company
  • Attend and participate in all required company training programs
  • Must be able to lift and/or move 80 lbs.
  • Must be able to climb ladders carrying up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to use proper lifting techniques
  • Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes and clothing
  • Must adhere to all driving regulations based on state and/or jurisdiction policies such as wearing a seatbelt
  • Must follow all safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements
  • Must ensure deliveries are handled professionally and courteously
  • Must represent the company positively
  • Must unload, protect, move and stage materials as specified by customer directive
  • Must conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Must safely operate company vehicles, including up to 26' trucks, in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
  • Must deliver materials to customer project sites on time
  • Must unload materials at delivery locations and verify deliveries against packing slips
  • Must maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment

Desired Qualifications

  • NCCCO certification preferred
  • Experienced boom operators without certification will also be considered
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of the operation of a forklift and other equipment
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of building materials
  • Excellent communication skills
