Job Summary
Operate a commercial motor vehicle to deliver building materials to commercial and residential job sites, load/unload materials, inspect the truck/trailer for defects, and maintain records in compliance with DOT/state regulations. Provide world-class customer service, work as part of a team, and ensure safety of self and others during loading, unloading, and delivery on a flatbed or boom truck. Maintain attention to safety, complete required documentation, and adhere to company policies and regulations. The role includes occasional heavy lifting, driving duties, and interacting with customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
- Minimum Class B License, Class A strongly preferred
- Three (3) year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
- Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations
- Ability to lift heavy building materials up to 100+ lbs for load/unload
- Ability to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle and adhere to safety standards
