Job Summary
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness while safely operating up to 26' trucks in compliance with DOT regulations. Deliver materials to customer project sites on time, unload items at delivery locations, and verify deliveries against packing slips. Perform additional training such as forklift operation and other specified equipment as required. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment by following all OSHA requirements and proper lifting techniques. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and attend all required company meetings and training programs.
Required Qualifications
- Possess valid Class A or Class B CDL
- Minimum 1-year consistent commercial driving experience
- Must be able to learn how to operate a forklift and other company vehicles
- Must understand and be able to use miscellaneous tools and equipment, including but not limited to: dollies, flat carts, and rock carts
- Must attend and participate in all required meetings in relation to material delivery and overall company
- Attend and participate in all required company training programs
- Must be able to lift and/or move 80 lbs.
- Must be able to climb ladders carrying up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others

- Basic understanding and knowledge of the operation of a forklift and other equipment
- Basic understanding and knowledge of building materials
- Must be able to unload, protect, move and stage materials as specified by customer directive
- Must be able to learn how to operate a forklift and other company vehicles and must understand and be able to use miscellaneous tools and equipment, including but not limited to: dollies, flat carts, and rock carts
