Job Summary
Operate company trucks up to 26' in compliance with DOT regulations, conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure roadworthiness. Deliver materials to customer project sites on time, unloading items and verifying deliveries against packing slips while protecting and staging materials per customer directives. Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing seatbelts and appropriate PPE, and maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment. Participate in required company meetings and training programs, including forklift operation and other specified equipment training. Possess a valid Class A or Class B CDL with at least one year of consistent commercial driving experience.
Required Qualifications
- Possess valid Class A or Class B CDL
- Minimum 1-year consistent commercial driving experience
- Must be able to learn how to operate a forklift and other company vehicles
- Must understand and be able to use miscellaneous tools and equipment, including but not limited to: dollies, flat carts, and rock carts
- Must attend and participate in all required meetings in relation to material delivery and overall company
- Attend and participate in all required company training programs
- Must be able to lift and/or move 80 lbs.
- Must be able to climb ladders carrying up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
