Job Summary
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections on up to 26' trucks, then deliver materials to customer project sites while adhering to DOT regulations and state driving policies. Unload, protect, and stage materials at delivery locations by verifying against packing slips and using proper lifting techniques for items up to 80 lbs. Operate forklifts and other equipment as required, maintaining a clean warehouse environment and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment. Participate in all mandatory company training and meetings regarding material delivery and safety protocols. Requires a valid Class A or B CDL with one year of consistent commercial driving experience. Required Qualifications
- Possess valid Class A or Class B CDL
- Minimum 1-year consistent commercial driving experience
- Must be able to learn how to operate a forklift and other company vehicles
- Must understand and be able to use miscellaneous tools and equipment, including but not limited to: dollies, flat carts, and rock carts
- Must attend and participate in all required meetings in relation to material delivery and overall company
- Attend and participate in all required company training programs
- Must be able to lift and/or move 80 lbs.
- Must be able to climb ladders carrying up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
