Job Summary
Deliver ready-mix concrete to construction sites and other products within production areas. Perform daily DOT pre- and post-trip truck inspections, check fluids, assist with plant maintenance, review delivery tickets for addresses and needed products, add ingredients per ticket, check slumps and mix, manage chutes, obtain signed delivery tickets, and handle COD deliveries. Communicate with dispatchers throughout the delivery process, refuel as needed, and ensure safety and punctuality. Must safely maneuver trucks in varied terrain, work long hours including weekends/holidays, and meet physical demands such as climbing in/out of the truck, lifting up to 80 pounds, and climbing ladders. Requires ability to read GPS, follow safety protocols, and maintain a professional demeanor with internal and external stakeholders. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid State-Issued Driver’s License, Class A or B
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background check, MVR overview, physical/DOT, and drug/alcohol testing
- Proficient reading, writing, and speaking English
- Ability to read GPS from company-issued tablet
- Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders
- Ability to follow company policies and safety protocols including PPE
- Proficient basic math skills
- Maintain driving record per Federal and State regulations
- Reliable mobile contact (phone/text/email) during work hours
