Job Summary
Conduct on-time deliveries of equipment and materials to job sites while performing pre- and post-trip inspections. Load, secure, and unload machinery including manlifts and telehandlers; verify loads for accuracy and report any defects immediately. Comply with all DOT laws and FMCSA policies, logging all hours legally and maintaining appropriate vehicle and containment standards. Wash and patch containment, run trash dumpsters to landfill, and assist in other divisions as needed. Travel up to 25% of the time, potentially out of town for up to two weeks. Requires current Class A CDL, medical card, and two years of driving experience.
Required Qualifications
- CLASS A CDL
- Current Medical Card
- 2+ yrs. driving experience
- 1+ yrs. load securement experience
- basic math skills
- Understanding of DOT regulations
- Understanding Load Securement
- Ability to load and unload equipment such as manlifts, loaders, telehandlers
- Ability to drive a Company Vehicle in a legal, safe and professional manner
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors and customers
- Knowledge of FMCSA policies
- Must pass pre-employment fit test
- Capability of lifting 50 lbs. repeatedly
- Capability to work in extreme weather conditions such as heat/cold/wind/rain/snow
- Must be available for travel up to 25% of time
- Must be available for out of town/state travel for up to 2 weeks at a time or longer
