Job Summary
Operate a Class A tractor-trailer safely on regional and multi-stop routes, delivering building materials while adhering to DOT and FMCSA regulations. Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, secure loads with approved tie-downs, and verify load accuracy at each stop. Communicate regularly with dispatch regarding pickups, deliveries, and route updates, reporting accidents immediately and obtaining proper Proof of Delivery documentation. Maintain truck cleanliness and equipment readiness, operating safely in various weather conditions including snow and rain. Requires a valid Class A CDL with current medical certification, one year of driving experience preferred, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
