Job Summary
Perform touch-freight tasks involving lifting, moving, or carrying products over 75 lbs. Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify load accuracy while notifying branch management of any site hazards. Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading. Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products. Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE. Requires a valid Class A CDL license, at least 12 months of commercial driving experience, and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid Class A CDL license in good standing
- At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Experience operating heavy equipment
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
