Job Summary
Perform touch-freight tasks involving lifting, moving, or carrying products over 75 lbs. Pre-inspect trucks, load materials, and verify load accuracy while notifying management of site hazards. Set up job parameters and inspect sites to ensure safe loading and unloading environments. Maintain regular communication with dispatchers to ensure timely product delivery. Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, wearing appropriate PPE at all times. Requires a valid Class B CDL license, 12+ months commercial driving experience, and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid Class B CDL license in good standing
- At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to lift, move, or carry products weighing over 75 lbs
- Must follow all DOT and company safety procedures
- Must wear appropriate PPE
