Job Summary
Perform touch-freight tasks involving lifting and moving products over 75 lbs. Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify load accuracy while notifying management of site hazards. Set up job parameters, inspect the loading environment, and maintain communication with the dispatcher for timely delivery. Adhere to all DOT and company safety procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE. Requires a valid Class A CDL, NCCCO certification, and at least 12 months of commercial driving experience. This role supports QXO's mission to modernize the building products industry through advanced technology and a best-in-class customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid Class A CDL license in good standing
- NCCCO & Crane Institute Certification required
- At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Experience operating heavy equipment
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to lift, move, or carry products weighing over 75 lbs
- Must be able to perform touch-freight tasks
- Must follow all DOT and company safety procedures
- Must wear appropriate PPE
