Job Summary
Safely operate a heavy-load truck with a 30-55,000-pound GVW capacity, ensuring all materials are properly secured before and after each delivery. Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections (DVIR), complete customer delivery paperwork, and collect and secure payments aligned with supporting documents. Report any material damage or customer incidents to dispatch and seek guidance on non-routine areas from a supervisor. This full-time role requires overtime as business needs dictate, a CDL (Type A or B), and the ability to service all regional distribution centers. Travel is required for this position.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of truck driving experience with a proven track record of safe driving
- Possession of a CDL (type A or B) Commercial driver's license
- Proficient in driving manual transmission trucks
- Capability to operate a gate lift
- Proficiency in operating an electric pallet jack
- Experience in handling commercial and residential deliveries
- Ability to service all region's distribution centers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Travel is required for this position
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check

- Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
- Minimum of 5 years of forklift experience
- Minimum of 5 years of truck driving experience with a proven track record of safe driving
