Job Summary
Safely operate a heavy-load truck with a 30-55,000-pound capacity, ensuring all materials are properly secured before and after each delivery. Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections (DVIR) and complete all customer delivery paperwork, including collecting and securing funds aligned with supporting documents. Report any material damage or customer issues to dispatch and seek guidance on non-routine problems. This full-time role requires overtime as business needs dictate and involves travel across all regional distribution centers. Candidates must hold a CDL (Type A or B) and have at least two years of safe driving experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of truck driving experience with a proven track record of safe driving
- Possession of a CDL (type A or B) Commercial driver's license
- Proficient in driving manual transmission trucks
- Capability to operate a gate lift
- Proficiency in operating an electric pallet jack
- Experience in handling commercial and residential deliveries
- Ability to service all region's distribution centers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Travel is required for this position
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check

- Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
