Job Summary
Safely operate a heavy-load truck, ensuring all material is properly secured before and after each delivery. Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections (DVIR) and document equipment condition. Complete customer supporting paperwork, collect and secure payments, and report any material damage or customer issues to dispatch. Seek supervisor guidance on non-routine areas and service all region's distribution centers. Requires a commercial driver's license (type A or B), 2+ years of truck driving experience, and ability to operate a gate lift and electric pallet jack. Full-time position with overtime as business needs dictate.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of truck driving experience with a proven track record of safe driving
- Proficient in driving automatic transmission trucks
- Possession of a commercial driver's license (type A or B)
- Capability to operate a gate lift
- Proficiency in operating an electric pallet jack
- Experience in handling commercial and residential deliveries
- Ability to service all region's distribution centers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Travel is required for this position
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check
