Job Summary
Safely operate a heavy-load truck, ensuring all material is properly secured at the start of each shift and continuously monitored after deliveries. Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections (DVIR), collect and document money received, and complete all customer delivery paperwork. Report any material damage or customer issues to dispatch and seek guidance on non-routine areas. This full-time role requires overtime as business needs dictate and involves travel across all region's distribution centers. Candidates must possess a commercial driver's license (type A or B) and at least two years of truck driving experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of truck driving experience with a proven track record of safe driving
- Proficient in driving automatic transmission trucks
- Possession of a commercial driver's license (type A or B)
- Capability to operate a gate lift
- Proficiency in operating an electric pallet jack
- Experience in handling commercial and residential deliveries
- Ability to service all region's distribution centers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Travel
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check
