Job Summary
Safely operate a heavy-load truck, ensuring all material is properly secured at the start of each shift and continuously monitored after delivery. Complete pre- and post-trip inspections (DVIR), load the truck correctly, and deliver materials to customer locations while processing all supporting paperwork. Collect and secure money received to align with documentation, then report any material damage or customer issues to dispatch. Seek guidance from supervisors on non-routine areas and maintain equipment in good condition. This full-time role in Massachusetts requires a CDL (Type A or B), 2+ years of driving experience, and includes travel across all regional distribution centers.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of truck driving experience with a proven track record of safe driving
- Proficient in driving automatic transmission trucks
- Possession of a commercial driver's license (type A or B)
- Capability to operate a gate lift
- Proficiency in operating an electric pallet jack
- Experience in handling commercial and residential deliveries
- Ability to service all region's distribution centers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Travel
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check

- Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
- Minimum of 5 years of forklift experience
