Job Summary
Conduct safe operation of heavy-load trucks with 30-55,000-pound capacity, ensuring proper material securing and customer delivery. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections (DVIR), process customer delivery paperwork, and collect and secure money received. Report material damage or customer issues to dispatch and document all incidents. Perform daily truck inspections and maintain equipment condition. Seek supervisor guidance on non-routine areas. Requires full-time status with overtime as business dictates, a CDL (type A or B), and 2+ years of driving experience. Travel is required across all regions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of truck driving experience with a proven track record of safe driving
- Possession of a CDL (type A or B) Commercial driver's license
- Proficient in driving manual transmission trucks
- Capability to operate a gate lift
- Proficiency in operating an electric pallet jack
- Experience in handling commercial and residential deliveries
- Ability to service all region's distribution centers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Travel is required for this position
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check

- Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
- Minimum of 5 years of forklift experience
