Job Summary
Safely operate a heavy-load truck, ensuring all material is properly secured at the start of the shift and continuously monitored after each delivery. Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections (DVIR) to document truck and equipment condition, then deliver materials to customer locations while completing all supporting paperwork and processing payments. Report any incidents related to material damage or customer matters to dispatch and seek guidance on non-routine areas. Requires a commercial driver's license (type A or B), minimum two years of truck driving experience, and ability to service all region's distribution centers. Full-time position with overtime as business needs dictate.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of truck driving experience with a proven track record of safe driving
- Proficient in driving automatic transmission trucks
- Possession of a commercial driver's license (type A or B)
- Capability to operate a gate lift
- Proficiency in operating an electric pallet jack
- Experience in handling commercial and residential deliveries
- Ability to service all region's distribution centers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Travel
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check

- Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
- Minimum of 5 years of forklift experience
