Job Summary
CDL Driver position at SRS Distribution Inc. in Columbia, SC, responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to deliver products to customer locations or job sites, following DOT regulations and maintaining a clean driving record. Responsibilities include inspecting vehicles, loading/unloading orders, reviewing purchase orders and delivery tickets, ensuring accurate on-time deliveries, maintaining safety through PPE and hazard reporting, taking photos of delivered products, and keeping delivery/inspection records. Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Current DOT Medical Certification
- Completion of FMCSA Registration
- Ability to lift and handle freight/materials up to 100 pounds
- Must be 21 years old if interstate travel or transporting hazardous materials
- A clean driving record (no DWI/DUI in last 18 months)
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and OSHA safety regulations
- Basic computer skills to record deliveries and track inventory
