Job Summary
CDL Driver - Class A with material handling responsibilities for The Food Bank of Northern Nevada. Drive and service the Northern Nevada area safely and professionally, provide excellent customer service, assist in warehouse tasks (fulfillment, receiving, shipping, replenishment), load/unload trucks, conduct rides-alongs for staff, follow all safety regulations, and maintain truck and equipment. Requires valid Nevada CDL Class A, high school diploma or GED, clean driving record, ability to read/speak/write English, and willingness to work flexible hours with occasional overnight trips; overtime is available.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Nevada CDL Class A with an excellent driving record
- 1-year experience driving a commercial box truck GVW <26,000 lb
- 6 Months manual transmission experience (preferred)
- 1-year experience in a warehouse environment (preferred)
