Job Summary
Conduct pre and post trip inspections on assigned tractor and trailer, then load, transport, and deliver products safely and timely using pallet jacks and hand jacks. Review orders before and upon delivery to ensure accuracy, unload products, accept payments, and secure customer signatures. Respond to customer questions, escalate issues to supervision, and adhere to all state and federal DOT regulations while maintaining accurate logs. Complete and submit delivery documents, ensure contents are properly secured to prevent damage, and follow SQF procedures. Requires valid CDL-A with one year of verifiable tractor trailer experience, ability to work flexible nights, weekends, and holidays, and bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to pass the pallet jack and lift operator certification tests
- Must be at least 21 years of age with a clean driving record
- Required to meet DOT medical standards
- Must have a valid CDL-A with a minimum of 1-year verifiable tractor trailer experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computer skills needed to operate digital driver logs, scanners, and other required systems
- Ability to read, write, and possess basic math skills
- Ability to reach, lift, and stack cases ranging in weight from 1 to 100 lbs.
- Must be able to read and communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.
