Job Summary
CDL Driver at Brink's responsible for safely driving armored vehicle between customer sites, guarding the Cash Transport Guard during pick-ups and deliveries, maintaining safety and security of the vehicle and crew, communicating with branch/dispatch, loading/unloading, completing delivery documentation, and reporting faults. Requires a valid Class B license, ability to pass DOT and background checks, and a firearms permit or ability to obtain one; preferred may include air brake endorsement and prior driving/security experience. The role offers local routes with strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and opportunity for growth; benefits include health/dental/life insurance, 401K with match, and PTO for full-time staff.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Minimum of Class B license
- Satisfy all applicable Department of Transportation requirements
- A valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms licensing requirements
- A valid guard card or ability to obtain a guard card or any other required licenses
- Chauffeur's license OR ability to obtain one (Indiana, Louisiana, and Michigan residents only)
- Ability to satisfactorily complete and maintain all required internal training applicable to the position.
- Ability to pass pre-employment verification, background check and drug screening as permitted by applicable law.
