Job Summary
Pre-inspect truck, load materials, and verify load accuracy. Set up job parameters, inspect sites for safe loading/unloading conditions, and ensure branch management is aware of potential hazards. Maintain regular communication with dispatchers for timely deliveries. Touch freight weighing 75+ pounds and occasionally assist with lifting, pushing, or moving product as needed. Adhere diligently to all safety protocols while wearing appropriate PPE. Work outdoors in all weather conditions, operating heavy equipment and manual transmission trucks. Requires valid Class A or B CDL license with at least 12 months of commercial driving experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing
- At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
