Job Summary
Perform touch-freight tasks involving lifting, moving, or carrying products over 75 lbs. Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify load accuracy while notifying branch management of any site hazards. Set up job parameters, inspect the site for safe loading and unloading conditions, and maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery. Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, wearing appropriate PPE at all times. Requires NCCCO certification, Class B CDL, and 12+ months of commercial driving experience.
Required Qualifications
- NCCCO certification and/or knuckleboom truck experience
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid Class B CDL license in good standing
- At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
