CDL Driver (Block Plant Operator)

Job Summary
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, safely operate a Class A truck to transport blocks from plant to customers, and securely load and unload materials using a loader. Maintain logbooks and delivery documentation, communicate route progress with dispatch, and adhere to established schedules and safety procedures. Provide professional customer service at delivery sites and assist with yard operations as needed. Requires a valid Class A CDL, two years of driving experience, and physical ability to lift 100 pounds. Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Current DOT Medical Card
- Minimum of 2 years' proven experience driving Class A trucks
- Clean driving record with no serious violations or accidents in the last 5 years
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for material transportation
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform tasks involving bending, lifting, and climbing
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with plant personnel and customers
- Willingness to undergo SRM's pre-employment screenings
- A proactive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
