Job Summary
CDL Driver responsible for planning routes and coordinating with the transportation coordinator, safely transporting residents and goods, assisting residents with boarding and alighting and with wheelchair lifts when needed, loading/unloading packages, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and logs, and adhering to safety regulations. Requires PA CDL, a high school diploma or GED, and at least one year of related driving experience. Schedule is PRN (as needed), 8:00am–4:30pm in Pittsburgh, with opportunities for growth and a supportive, mission-driven workplace.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- one-year related driving experience or combined education/training and experience
- Valid PA CDL Driver’s License with good driving record
- Experience presenting information in one-on-one situations to a resident, resident representative or staff member
- Listening skills and ability to follow directions and interpret concerns
