Job Summary
CDL Driver for Aspen Waste Systems of Minnesota operates refuse collection trucks in the Rochester area, delivering prompt, courteous service. Responsibilities include operating the vehicle safely per safety procedures and OSHA/DOT requirements, providing excellent customer service, performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, communicating safety concerns or maintenance needs to supervision, and completing daily route documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's license with an air brakes endorsement
- Must be able to obtain and maintain DOT Medical certification
- Safe driving record
- Working knowledge of fleet related OSHA, DOT, and similar federal regulations
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience in waste collections is a plus
- Previous experience driving refuse trucks preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with the Rochester area is a plus
- Regular and reliable attendance
