Job Summary
Conduct pre/post trip inspections of assigned vehicles to ensure safety equipment is operational and maintain truck appearance per company standards. Safely operate roll rear, front, side, and roll off trucks on streets, highways, customer sites, and construction sites while following route assignments and completing end-of-day documentation. Provide courteous service to all customers and empty receptacles, returning bins to upright positions and cleaning areas around accidental spills. Assist with backing maneuvers on route and notify Dispatch immediately of any incidents, accidents, or unsafe situations. Attend scheduled training programs and meetings as required by management.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- State issued standard CDL Driver's Class B permit with air brake endorsement
- Ability to get a CDL permit within 6 months
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Physical ability to handle objects more than 50lbs
- Ability to work under many different weather conditions
- Successful completion of pre-employment testing
- Drug screen
