Job Summary
Transport cargo via 53' trailer from aircraft to warehouse and back while adhering to strict safety regulations and interacting with airline representatives. Maintain leadership and multi-tasking skills to manage a busy workload, including conflict resolution and quality awareness. Work outside in all weather conditions and elevated noise levels, lifting up to 70 pounds in confined spaces. Requires a Class A CDL with hazmat endorsements, minimum 1-2 years manual transmission experience, and ability to pass drug tests and obtain airport security clearance. Schedule includes weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts for flight delays.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holding a CDL-Class A with hazmat endorsements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Class A License
- Minimum 1-2 years Trucking experience with manual transmission
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of Ramp Operations
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Leadership ability
- Customer focus and quality awareness
- Ability to deal with conflict
- Must pass a drug test/ background check
- Must be able to obtain airport security clearance
- Must be able to lift to 70 pounds in confined spaces
- Must be able to stand, lift, bend, push, and pull for extended periods
- Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the airport environment
- Must be able to work on weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and holidays
