Job Summary
CDL Driver at SRS Distribution is responsible for safe, timely delivery of building materials to job sites; conduct vehicle inspections; verify inventory; load/unload with forklifts or manually; coordinate with customers for material placement; document deliveries with photos; operate in varied weather and noisy environments; capable of long hours and handling materials up to 100 lbs; must have CDL A or B with air brakes endorsement; English communication; 18+ (21+ interstate/hazmat); background checks, drug tests, and FMCSA Clearinghouse verification; DOT medical certificate; forklift certification preferred; competitive benefits and compensation included.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid CDL Class A or B with air brakes endorsement and a clean driving record.
- Must operate forklifts/Moffett's safely, work in varied conditions, and communicate effectively in English.
- Candidates must be 18+ (21 for interstate/hazmat), pass background checks, drug tests, and E-Verify, and verification via the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s (FMCSA) Clearinghouse.
- 1-2 years of relevant commercial driving experience.
