Job Summary
Prepare mobile blood units, load and unload vehicles, and transport blood products to scheduled drive sites. Provide customer service during drives, recruit donors, and manage inventory and vehicle cleanliness. Ensure safe, on-time delivery of units, samples, and donor records to the processing center. Complete all duties professionally with rotating weekends and local driving. Begin day with site setup, perform on-site recruiting, and execute site takedown before returning to garage.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid/Current CDL (Class A OR Class B w/ Airbrakes)
- Current Medical Card / ability to pass a DOT Physical
- Ability to lift 40lbs and able to push rolling equipment
- Must be available for rotating weekends
- Must be available for hours between 4:30am - 10:00pm
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years driving trucks, buses, coaches, or larger cargo vehicles
- Excellent driving record free of any accidents of moving violations within the past 3 years
- Customer service experience
- Defensive driving
