Job Summary
Coordinate and schedule motorcoach and shuttle drivers for daily routes, line runs, and charters while monitoring real-time operations to ensure on-time performance. Communicate with drivers to provide instructions, resolve issues, and manage logs, trip sheets, and documentation for compliance. Track driver performance on safety, timeliness, and service; assist with emergencies like delays or mechanical failures. Cover trips as needed and serve as the primary contact for drivers, clients, and internal departments. Be available for on-call duty one week per month to handle after-hours situations. Requires valid CDL with passenger and air brake endorsements, DOT medical card, and two years of commercial driving experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger and air brake endorsements.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- 2+ years of commercial driving experience.
- Previous experience in dispatching or transportation coordination, preferably in the motorcoach or shuttle industry.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using dispatch software and GPS tracking systems.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Willingness to step in and cover trips if needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Availability to be on-call one week per month.
