Job Summary
CDL Driver responsible for safe and professional delivery of materials from the branch to customers, adhering to the assigned delivery schedule, documenting each delivery with photos, performing load checks, and coordinating with the Delivery Material Handler for unloading. Role may involve warehouse tasks (loading/unloading materials) and requires operating a variety of equipment while complying with federal, state, and local regulations. Must be licensed CDL Class A or B with the ability to lift 70–100 lb items; pre-employment drug screening is required. Hazmat endorsement and related truck-experience (flatbed/box/knuckle boom) are preferred. Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL – Class A or B
- Ability to lift 75-100 pounds repeatedly (70 pound bundles of shingles)
- Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens required
- Hazmat endorsement is preferred
- Flatbed, box and/or knuckle boom truck experience is preferred
- Trailer mounted forklift experience is preferred
- Crane certification is preferred
- No over-the-road travel required (position focuses on local deliveries)
- Safety-conscious and customer-service oriented delivery responsibilities
- Documenting deliveries and handling government paperwork as required
