Job Summary
CDL Delivery Truck Driver role responsible for safe, timely delivery of building products from the branch to customers, with nightly home time. Responsibilities include treating customers professionally, maintaining a safe work zone, adhering to delivery schedules, documenting every delivery with photos, performing load checks, ensuring truck compliance with federal/state/local regulations, coordinating unloading with Delivery Material Handler, handling COD invoices, and maintaining logs. Requires CDL Class A or B and ability to lift 70-100 lb bundles; pre-employment and random drug screens; flatbed/box/conveyor truck experience preferred; crane endorsement preferred; warehouse duties such as loading/unloading may be included.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL – Class A or B
- Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens are required
- Ability to lift 75-100 pounds repeatedly
- Complete and file logs and government paperwork accurately
- Complete a thorough load check and secure materials before departure
