Job Summary
Operate an 18 to 24-foot commercial vehicle delivering dialysis products to home patients and dialysis centers, ensuring order accuracy and managing up to 45 cases per route. Perform home patient visits including solution delivery, stock rotation, and occasional pick-ups and returns while maintaining HOS logs via Electronic Logging Device. Safely operate material handling equipment such as lift gates, ramps, pallet jacks, and stair climbers in extreme temperatures. Work a 4-day week with two overnight shifts, utilizing a hotel and meal per diem.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Drivers Licenses (CDL)
- Air Brake endorsement
- MVR check must meet minimum standards
- Understand and follow all DOT rules and requirements
- Valid Medical Card
- Ability to maintain driver HOS log using Electronic Logging Device (ELD)
- Ability to adequately distinguish colors to identify product labels
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, crouch, twist, reach, grasp, climb, balance, kneel, squat, and turn wrists
- Ability to work efficiently in extreme cold and/or extreme heat
- Must be available for multiple day routes that include some overnight travel
- Must be available for 2 overnights per week
- Must be available for weekends off
- Must be available for 4 day work week
- Must be available for 5am-3pm/6am-4pm schedule
- Must be able to perform Industrial Capabilities Test
- Must be able to safely operate material handling equipment such as lift gates, ramps, pallet jacks, walkie rider, and Liftkar (stair climbers)
- Must be able to safely operate an 18 to 24-foot commercial vehicle
- Must be able to deliver dialysis solution
- Must be able to rotate stock
- Must be able to ensure order accuracy
- Must be able to perform occasional order pick-ups and returns
- Must be able to work with dialysis patients
- Must be able to work with regional office staff
- Must be able to work with customer service team
- Must be able to work with healthcare professionals
- Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Must be able to demonstrate strong social skills
- Must be able to facilitate and work effectively in diverse, multi-functional teams
- Must be able to follow all safety rules for equipment use and driving outlined by Vantive and DOT
- Must be able to enter and exit vehicle frequently
- Must be able to deliver up to, and at times in excess of 45 cases per delivery
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of driving comparable equipment with inside delivery experience
- Ability to work overtime
