Job Summary
Deliver dialysis products to a diverse home patient base and kidney dialysis centers using an 18 to 24-foot commercial vehicle, ensuring order accuracy and managing occasional pick-ups and returns. Complete up to 45 cases per delivery while operating material handling equipment such as lift gates, ramps, pallet jacks, and stair climbers. Perform multiple day routes that include some overnight travel, maintaining driver HOS logs using an Electronic Logging Device and adhering to all DOT rules. Work a 4-day week with 1-2 overnight trips per week, requiring physical stamina for repetitive lifting of cases up to 50 pounds in extreme temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Drivers Licenses (CDL)
- Air Brake endorsement
- MVR check must meet minimum standards
- Understand and follow all DOT rules and requirement
- Valid Medical Card
- Ability to maintain driver HOS log using Electronic Logging Device (ELD)
- Pass Industrial Capabilities Test
- Perform multiple day routes that include some overnight travel
- Safely operate material handling equipment such as lift gates, ramps, pallet jacks, walkie rider, Liftkar (stair climbers)
- Ability to adequately distinguish colors to identify product labels
- Ability to lift up to, and at times in excess of 45 cases per delivery
- Repetitive lifting and moving of cases weighing up to 50 pounds
- Frequent entering and exiting of vehicle
- Frequent bending, crouching, twisting, reaching, grasping, climbing, and balancing
- Frequent kneeling, squatting and wrist turning
- Work efficiently and effectively in extreme cold and/or extreme heat
