Job Summary
Drive products to assigned accounts daily, ensuring complete merchandising and display standards at every stop. Manage sales volume through promotional activities, collect monies due, and maintain accurate records of product and cash. Transport Point of Sale advertising, perform vehicle and load checks, and monitor competitor activities while fostering strong customer relationships. Operate a Class A CDL tractor-trailer, obtaining certification within 90 days, and adhere to all DOT physical and safety regulations. Work weekends and holidays as needed, traveling up to 10% to other locations.
Required Qualifications
- Must have ability to obtain a Class A CDL within 90 days of starting in position
- Must have the ability to operate a Class A CDL tractor and trailer
- Must understand and remain in compliance with all CDL requirements
- Must have a motor vehicle driving history that meets CCBCHC guidelines
- Ability to pass and maintain DOT physical requirements
- Must be able to repetitively lift, pull and push 50+ pounds
- Must be able to reach above head height
- Must be able to stand
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to kneel
- Must be able to bend
- Must be able to reach
- Must be willing to travel to other company locations approximately 10%
- Must be available to work some weekends and some holidays
- Requires pre-employment drug testing
- Adheres to an Alcohol and Drug-Free Workplace
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1-3 years of general work experience preferred
- 1+ years of commercial driving experience preferred
- Prior grocery store and/or consumer products experience a plus
- Customer service experience preferred
- Ability to adapt to change in the workplace
- Ability to grasp and understand business concepts and issues
- Ability to effectively, clearly and concisely communicate verbally and in writing
- Display willingness to make critical decisions while following company practices
