Job Summary
Pre-inspect trucks, load materials, and verify load accuracy while performing touch-freight tasks involving products over 75 lbs. Set up job parameters, inspect sites for safe loading and unloading environments, and notify branch management of potential hazards. Maintain regular communication with dispatchers to ensure timely delivery and strictly follow all DOT safety procedures and PPE requirements. Requires a valid Class A or B CDL, 12 months of commercial driving experience, and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing
- At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to lift, move, or carry products weighing over 75 lbs
- Must follow all DOT and company safety procedures
- Must wear appropriate PPE
Desired Qualifications
- Conveyor truck experience preferred
- Experience operating heavy equipment
