Job Summary
Operate a Class B box truck safely, delivering foodservice supplies and restaurant equipment to local customer locations. Unload product at sites using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and liftgates while utilizing Descartes for route management. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain a professional demeanor with clients. Assist in warehouse operations when needed. Ride along with experienced drivers for training on equipment and processes. Work variable 4 or 5-day weeks starting between 5 and 7 AM, with overtime required up to DOT regulations. No ELD required within a 150-mile radius.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class B License required with clean driving record
- Access to federally regulated or secure facilities
- REAL ID‐compliant driver's license or another TSA‐approved form of identification
- Minimum 6 months experience in Commercial Driving, or relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Ability to pass Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and obtain MEC Certification
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lift, push, pull a minimum of 50-70lbs
- Ability to work overtime up to DOT regulations, depending on the day
