Job Summary
Drive bulk trucks and install blasting products at local construction sites, mines, and quarries while performing 60% physical work including loading, pulling hoses, and operating manufacturing units. Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, manage hazardous materials in compliance with DOT regulations, and minimize environmental impact through waste control. Report incidents immediately and participate in daily toolbox talks and safety meetings. This hybrid role requires early morning starts, 8-12 hour shifts, and occasional overnight travel.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL
- Solid understanding of DOT regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of experience in driving and/or material handling
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Basic math skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects, daily responsibilities, and urgent situations
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds
- Must be able to carry 50 pounds or more of product or materials
- Ability to load product, pull large hoses, fill drilled holes, and climb on and off trucks
- Ability to perform frequent shoveling of gravel
- Ability to perform regular pushing and pulling while working with equipment
- Ability to perform frequent bending, squatting, and general mobility throughout the workday
- Willingness to obtain endorsements
